What can I do if my ePassport or barcode is not being accepted by the clinic?

In the rare event that your ePassport isn't being accepted or the barcode isn't working, and you are unable to complete your drug test, this may require that we issue a new ePassport. Please contact HireRight Customer Service as soon as possible to request assistance.

What do I do if the clinic is refusing to perform my test?

In some cases, the collection site may indicate that they are unable to perform your drug test. The following are some of the reasons for which this may occur:

  • The clinic may not perform the type of testing requested by your potential employer

  • The clinic selected either does not have the necessary equipment and/or supplies to perform the testing

  • The clinic may be experiencing system or other issues which prevent them from effectively performing the test

Please contact HireRight Customer Service as soon as possible to request assistance.

How can I request my drug test results or a copy of my lab results?

You may request a copy of your drug test results by completing and submitting a request to HireRight. Please review additional instructions here.

Why am I being asked to complete a Medical Information Disclosure and Consent?

Your hiring company or employer may ask you questions about your health or immunization status (Medical Questionnaires) to determine if you satisfy the legitimate health occupational requirements for the position you are being considered or in which you are employed. Additionally, they may require certain clinical laboratory testing and/or services to be performed in connection with your employment or prospective employment.

Why do I need to return to the clinic for further testing?

In some instances, certain testing such as TB may require two separate tests to provide accurate results. Additionally, there may be situations beyond our control where a sample has either been lost or damaged in transit, in which case your employer/potential employer will need to reorder the test.

Why am I being contacted by the Medical Review Office and how can I reach the MRO office?

HireRight's Medical Review Office may contact you in an effort to conduct an interview to determine if there is a medical explanation for a non-negative drug screen. If you received a voicemail, please refer to the number provided and return the call.
